“The absolute most important thing that I have learned is how important communication is,” Rios said. “You need to talk to the person you are having sex with or the person you are in love with. So many people are afraid to talk to their partners, especially during and about sex. That’s one of my fortes. I am verbally aggressive. I talk a lot and I want you to talk back to me. I always try to tell people that nobody knows how to read minds, so if you can’t tell that person what you want, how can they give it to you?”
In the column Rios also talks about getting her start in adult entertainment at 19, her prior career working in real estate, how her family found out that she started doing porn and offers some sex advice.
Rios, who started performing in 2001, currently hosts Playboy Radio’s “Private Calls” on Sirius satellite radio and “69 Sexy Things to Do Before You Die” on Playboy TV, is a former contract girl for Metro in 2003. She left porn in 2004 and returned in 2007 to work for many of the major adult studios.
Rios also has proven adept at the business end of adult entertainment. On July 21, she was named president of Erotique Entertainment.
